Further changes announced for B.C. Division schedules

Games impacted by flooding and road closures in B.C.

VANCOUVER - Further changes to the Canada West's B.C. Division schedules were announced by the conference on Tuesday as the province continues to deal with flooding and road closures.

Thursday's basketball games between the Fraser Valley Cascades and Thompson Rivers WolfPack has been postponed to a future date that has yet to be determined. The women's and men's games were originally scheduled for Thursday evening in Kamloops.

In another change for the Cascades, this time in volleyball, their home-and-home series scheduled with the Trinity Western Spartans that was to begin at UFV in Abbotsford on Thursday, will be shifted instead to two games in Langley.

First-serve in the women's match is set for at 6 p.m. at the Langley Events Centre, with the men's match to follow at 8 p.m. Friday's matches between the two teams will go on as initially scheduled in Langley.

Last week, the conference announced changes to a number of games impacted by weather and road closures in B.C.

Games between UFV and UBC Okanagan's scheduled for November 26-27 that were impacted by last week's announcement have now been rescheduled for January 8-9 in Kelowna.
