Feb. 16, 2025 - The field is set. Ten teams have advanced to the Canada West women's volleyball postseason, with a championship race that's as wide open as any in recent memory.

UFV secured the conference's top seed in a thrilling regular season finale on Saturday, defeating UBC in five sets to clinch home court advantage throughout the postseason. Alberta finished second and enters the postseason on a 17 game winning streak, while third place Manitoba enters on their own 14 game heater.

It was also an exciting race between Trinity Western, UBCO and Calgary to see who would secure the final two postseason berths. In the end, it was the Spartans and Dinos who booked their tickets to the play-in round, which will feature Calgary at Winnipeg and Trinity Western at Saskatchewan.

The play-in round and quarterfinals will be best-of-three series, with all games hosted by the higher seed. The semifinals and finals will be played in a single elimination "Final 4" format, hosted by the highest remaining seed.
