WBB: Weekend series postponed

BDN / REG women's basketball games to be rescheduled; men's action to go ahead with new start times

CALGARY - The women's basketball series between the Brandon University Bobcats and the University of Regina Cougars originally scheduled for this weekend has been postponed, Canada West announced Wednesday.

The change comes as a result of the visiting team not having the minimum number of players available to safely compete due to COVID-19 related protocols.

The Bobcats were slated to travel to Regina to take on the Cougars both Friday and Saturday. No reschedule dates have yet been set and will be announced by the affected teams when determined.

The men's basketball games will go ahead, but the game times have been changed. Tip off is slated for 7 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday at the University of Regina.
