RUGBY 7s: Langley tournament rescheduled to March 14-15

Feb. 6, 2025 - Canada West has announced the Langley Rugby 7s stop hosted by Trinity Western University has been rescheduled and will now take place March 14 and 15 at Willoughby Stadium at Langley Events Centre.

The event was originally scheduled to take place Feb. 8 and 9 but was postponed due to inclement weather. An updated tournament game schedule will be posted on the tournament homepage when it becomes available.

The 2025 Canada West Rugby 7s series features six teams competing in three tournament stops, including representatives from UBC, Alberta, Calgary, Lethbridge, Trinity Western and Victoria.

Tournament #1 took place in Edmonton earlier in January, with UBC taking an early lead in the overall standings after going undefeated. Read the Tournament #1 recap here.

Teams will next meet in Victoria for Tournament #2 from March 1 to 2.
