RUG: Victoria tournament Dream Team announced

UBC's Seumanutafa, Bauder headline selections

CALGARY - The second stop on the CW Rugby 7s series saw the hardest hitting women in Canada West go head-to-head in a two-day battle. Seven athletes stood out above them all and are now being recognized as the Rugby 7s Dream Team for tournament number two.

UBC sees two unanimous selections this go around in Shoshanah Seumanutafa and Savannah Bauder. The one-two all-star punch helped their T-Birds to a spotless record and tournament victory.

Julia Omokhuale of the University of Calgary repeats on the team after being a unanimous selection last tournament.

Her teammate Delaney Aikens is also enjoying her second Dream Team accolade this season after helping the Dinos to a third-place finish.

Victoria's Kira Peary and Maelle Reed headlined a Vikes team that captured second to tie them with Calgary in the season standings.

Ava Van Santen of Trinity Western also earned a spot by leading her Spartans to their best-ever finish at a CW Rugby 7s event.
