RUG: Second-year fly half key contributor in Vikes' victory
Kira Peary earns CW Player of the Week honours

CALGARY – Victoria's Kira Peary was named the Canada West Rugby 15s Player of the Week by the conference on Tuesday.
Peary contributed in all facets Thursday, when her Vikes hosted the Lethbridge Pronghorns at Wallace Field. She gave Victoria an early lead with a penalty goal in the ninth minute, before converting on a Carissa Nortsten try a short time later.
She came out flying in the second half, going for a try of her own to put the Vikes up 20. She continued to pour it on, with two successful converts, bringing her total on the season up to seven.
Peary and the Vikes will be back in action Thursday at 5 p.m. when they host the Alberta Pandas.
