Savanna Collison earns CW Player of the Week honours

CALGARY – Lethbridge's Savanna Collison was named the Canada West Rugby 15s Player of the Week by the conference on Tuesday.

In her final Canada West game, Collison left it all on the line, scoring to keep her team alive and fighting against the Calgary Dinos Friday.

She scored a try to tie the game at five, before pushing through another try a short while later to again even the game.

Her work pushed the Pronghorns into stoppage time all tied up, when they were able to take and maintain the lead.

The Lethbridge Pronghorns are now done regular season action, but the year's final two games will go Saturday to determine the teams' final placings before playoffs.
