MBB: Series postponed
UBCO / UFV men’s basketball matches postponed; women's action to go ahead
CALGARY - The men's basketball series between the Fraser Valley Cascades and UBCO Heat originally scheduled for this weekend has been postponed, Canada West announced Thursday.
The change comes as a result of the home team not having the minimum number of players available to compete this weekend.
The Heat were slated to host the Cascades this Friday and Saturday. No determination has yet been made on whether the games will be rescheduled or forfeited.
The women's games will go ahead as planned, with tip-off set for 5 p.m. on Friday and 3 p.m. on Saturday in Kelowna.
