GOLF: CW Championships tee off Monday

Canada West Championships set for Oct. 4-5 at Squamish Valley Golf Club

VANCOUVER - Canada West golfers return to the course for the CW Golf Championships Monday and Tuesday at the Squamish Valley Golf Club.

The two-day stroke play event features golfers from eight schools, with both men's and women's team and individual titles up for grabs. Golfers from Victoria, UBC Okanagan, Fraser Valley, Alberta, Calgary, Lethbridge, and Manitoba are set to join the host UBC Thunderbirds when play tees off Monday morning.

The Thunderbirds enter the event as reigning champions on the women's side, having taken the team title at the inaugural conference championship in 2019. On the men's side, it was the Fraser Valley Cascades finishing on top in 2019.
