FB: CW athletes make a splash in latest CFL report

Dinos' Philpot brothers ones to watch as CFL draft nears

CALGARY - The countdown is on. Two weeks away from the CFL draft, and the league has released its top 20 prospects on the spring edition of the Scouting Bureau.

Six of them wore the "CW" last season.

The Philpot brothers' familiar faces lead the pack at five and six. The University of Calgary products were both named U SPORTS first team All-Canadians this past season. Jalen and Tyson posted 35 and 41 receptions respectively (for 715 and 746 yards) despite a shortened schedule, while Tyson led U SPORTS in touchdown receptions.

The University of Saskatchewan's Noah Zerr (OL) held steady at 10th on the list, while Rodeem Brown (OL) out of the University of Alberta (previously unranked) claimed the 13th spot. Alberta's Peter Kozushka (OL) and Saskatchewan's Nathan Cherry (DL) rounded out the CW athletes on the list.
