CALGARY - Whether its on the course or in the pool, the best university athletes in Western Canada can officially begin their countdown. The conference released the CW championship dates and locations for championship sports Monday.

Victoria will play host for three of the six major events this season. They'll welcome the conference's golf teams on October 3 & 4, swim troops from November 25-27, and curling squads on February 25 & 26 in the new year.

Trinity Western is the site for cross country runners, who will vie for their spots atop the podium on October 29.

Last year's conference wrestling champs on both the men's and women's side (Alberta) will look for their repeats at home this year. That action is slated for February 10 & 11.

Runners, jumpers and throwers, meanwhile will head to the site of the conference's winningest track and field program (Saskatchewan) for their championships on February 24 & 25.
