Hockey, basketball, and volleyball award timelines unveiled

EDMONTON – With conference playoff action in basketball and hockey set to open this weekend, Canada West's winter semester awards season is just around the corner.

Below are the release dates for the conference's hockey, basketball, and volleyball awards.

The CW winter semester awards season begins Wednesday, February 19 (hockey all-stars and all-rookies) and concludes Wednesday, March 4 (volleyball major awards).


HOCKEY

  • ALL-STAR & ALL-ROOKIE TEAMS
    • Wednesday, February 19
      • 10 a.m. MST: women's all-stars & all-rookies announced
      • 1 p.m. MST: men's all-stars & all-rookies announced
  • MAJOR AWARDS
    • Wednesday, February 26
      • 10 a.m. MST: women's award winners announced
      • 1 p.m. MST: men's award winners announced

BASKETBALL

  • ALL-STAR & ALL-ROOKIE TEAMS
    • Thursday, February 20
      • 10 a.m. MST: women's all-stars & all-rookies announced
      • 1 p.m. MST: men's all-stars & all-rookies announced
  • MAJOR AWARDS
    • Thursday, February 27
      • 10 a.m. MST: women's award winners announced
      • 1 p.m. MST: men's award winners announced

VOLLEYBALL
