June 23, 2025 - Canada West has unveiled its 2025 Rugby 15s schedule, with all the hard hitting, fast paced action set to return on Aug. 30.

The 14-game regular season campaign kicks off with an exciting doubleheader, as longtime rivals Victoria and UBC clash in Vancouver at 1 p.m. PT, before Calgary hosts Alberta at 5 p.m. MT.

Lethbridge will begin their season the following weekend when they visit Alberta on Sept. 5.

The 2025 schedule has a slightly different look than in years past, with both UBC and Victoria making regular season road trips to face rivals on the prairies. UBC visits Calgary on Sept. 13, while Lethbridge will host Victoria later that same day.

The Thunderbirds will aim to continue their recent domination of Canada West, having captured five straight conference titles. The T-Birds broke through at the U SPORTS level last season as well, defeating rival Victoria 8-3 in the national final to record the first national championship in their program history.

The regular season wraps up Oct. 10, with Lethbridge visiting Calgary.

Edmonton will be the host site of the 2025 Canada West playoffs, with Alberta playing host to both the semifinals on Oct. 16 and the bronze and gold medal games on Oct. 19.

UBC will then host the 2025 U SPORTS National Championship in Vancouver, as the T-Birds look to defend their national title on home turf from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2.
