Canada West games now airing on TELUS Optik TV
Canada West and TELUS are proud to air the best Canadian live sports action – watch the women’s and men’s hockey, volleyball and basketball games of the week on Optik TV

CALGARY - The blink-and-you-miss-it action of Canada West competition and its elite athletes is now on your TV screen. TELUS Optik TV customers can catch a featured game in each of women's hockey, men's hockey, women's basketball, men's basketball, women's volleyball and men's volleyball each week.
Canada West action has taken over channel 1997, with a high-level match-up in these highly popular sports each weekend.
During the 2022-23 season, TELUS will host 35 regular season games and 18 playoff games.

Fans can also follow along on the teams' quest for national glory as they enter into CW Championship season in mid February. Basketball and hockey playoffs kick off the weekend of February 18, with volleyball quarterfinals slated for the following week. Playoffs continue until champions are crowned in each sport in the first two weeks of March.
Those weeks will be ones to watch as the drama and intensity of postseason play ignite the west.
