Canada West announces schedule adjustments

Multiple games this weekend impacted by travel conditions

Jan. 12, 2024 – Canada West has announced multiple schedule adjustments impacting games this weekend due to travel disruption caused by extreme weather.

Volleyball - Winnipeg at UFV

Update: This weekend's women's volleyball games between Winnipeg and UFV on Jan. 12 and 13 are now postponed due to travel disruption caused by extreme weather and will not be played this weekend.

An announcement regarding rescheduled dates for both games will be made when available. 

Friday's men's volleyball match between Winnipeg and UFV has been moved up to start at 6 p.m. PT.

Saturday's men's volleyball match has been moved up to start at 5 p.m. PT.

Volleyball - Calgary at UBCO

Update: The men's volleyball match between Calgary and UBCO originally scheduled for Friday has been moved to Sunday at noon PT. 

Friday's women's volleyball match will proceed as scheduled at 5 p.m. PT.

Both women's and men's volleyball matches on Saturday are currently set to proceed as scheduled. The women's match will begin at 4 p.m. PT with the men to follow at 6 p.m. PT.

Men's Hockey - Saskatchewan at TWU

Update: This weekend's men's hockey games between Saskatchewan and TWU have both been postponed due to travel disruptions caused by extreme weather. An update regarding rescheduling of the games will be made when available.

Basketball - Brandon at MacEwan

Friday's basketball matches between Brandon and MacEwan have been postponed and will be played on Sunday, Jan. 14. The men's game will tip-off at noon MT with the women to follow at 2 p.m. MT. ​

Saturday's matches are currently set to proceed as scheduled.
