BB: Calgary-Mount Royal series postponed

Games originally scheduled for this weekend moved to January

VANCOUVER - Basketball games between the Calgary Dinos and Mount Royal Cougars scheduled for December 3-4 have been postponed to January 14-15, Canada West announced Thursday.

The postponement comes as a result of Mount Royal's women's team not having the minimum number of players available to safely compete this weekend, in accordance with the conference's Event Management policy.

All four games between the men's and women's teams that were scheduled for Friday and Saturday at the Dinos' Jack Simpson Gymnasium will now take place in January.

As per conference scheduling policies, men's and women's basketball games are scheduled as doubleheaders at the host institution. Due to the postponement of the women's games, the men's games will also be rescheduled to form doubleheaders in January.
